[Firefox] How to Backup Passwords & Bookmarks

Don't you feel upset after formatting your computer and losing all your saved passwords and bookmarks in Firefox ?! (a lot of them you don't even remember!) today i will show you how you can backup your passwords and bookmarks.

Backing up Firefox Passwords!

1. Go to Password Exporter 1.2 in Firefox add-on website.

2. Install Password Exporter add-on ,and then restart Firefox.

3. Go to "Tools">"Options">"Security" tab > "Imports/Exports Passwords".

4. Choose "Export Passwords" and Save it wherever you want!

If you want to import passwords go to "Tools">"Options">"Security" tab > "Imports/Exports Passwords" and choose "Import Passwords" and browse to your password backup file.

Backup Firefox Bookmarks!

1. Go to "Bookmarks" > "Organize Bookmarks" .

2. Choose "Import and Backup" > " Export HTML".

3. Save it!

If you want to import bookmarks , follow same steps , but choose "Import HTML".

That's it ! don't forget to save your backup in safe place , so next time you format your computer you can restore them easily.

    but the passwords can be unhidden which bad
    i mean go to any computer and steal the pass

    Actually saved passwords in Firefox are already unhidden without this add on , you can go to "tools">"option">"security" tab and choose "show passwords" and then click "show passwords" , and the saved passwords are shown immediately.

    Saving password is not recommend if you are using shared computers.
