[LAN] How to Control Your LAN Computer Remotely, Part III

Today i will show you how you can transfer files using TeamViewer , its pretty easy way and straight forward, and how to shutdown the computer .

Transferring Files!
  • After establishing connection between both of your computers, choose “File Transfer”.

  • In your left side is the file browser for local computer, so choose the file/folder you want to send, then in the right side is the remote computer , choose where you want to save your file/folder , then hit “Send”.

  • Same as what we did above , you can do the same in case you want to get a file/folder from the remote computer, but instead you have to locate the file/folder in remote computer , and locate where you want to save it then hit “Receive” .

P.S : there is a lot of other features you can use in TeamViewer , i will not explain all these features , you have to discover it by yourself, i will write some of useful features that could be used while using TeamViewer while connecting to other computers:
  • "Actions" tab - Remote Reboot : here you can reboot or log off the computer.
  • "Actions" tab - Switch sides with partner.
  • "View" tab: here you can change the screen resolution of the remote computer and the quality.
  • "Audio/Video" tab : this is for voice, video, or text chat.

  • "Record" tab : you can record what you are doing !
Shutdown The Computer !
Well, obviously it needs no explanation , you can shut it down as you are usually do it, in the remote computer go to Start > Shutdown ! and that's it , maybe i will explain in other post how you can shutdown remote computer using Command Prompt .

I hope that i gave you a brief idea ,how things could be done remotely, this could be applied in a lot of situations, for example as controlling remote server computer or even because you are just lazy and you want to control other computers around your home.
